luke scroggins

Luke Scroggins is a Cinematographer based in Los Angeles, California.

After coming up through a career in theater and television, he joined the dark side and moved into the Camera Department. He was accepted into the American Film Institute with his short Le'Director, earning his MFA in Cinematography in 2025.

As a cinematographer, he focuses on stories that are deeply human, with an emphasis on period drama and action. His AFI thesis film Killer of Men and short film Keeping Warm are expected to join the festival circuit in 2026.

Luke also keeps one foot in the commercial space, representing brands such as the University of Idaho, St. Luke's Hospital, Banner Health, and Flourish Research.
